Role
Overview:
In
this role, you will contribute to very high visibility projects focused on the
reengineering of our core back office and support processes.
Applicants
should be comfortable acting as a liaison between technical developers and the
business. You'll need a proclivity and/or passion for systems and tools to
effectively deliver high impact process automation. This role also requires
project management and relevant operational experience, and a track record of
strong cross functional collaboration on complex operational business
solutions.
You
will manage multiple application projects through the planning, design,
development and test phases. You will also work with our network team whose
projects support the internal infrastructure of the company. Strong candidates
will excel at setting up projects to succeed, driving cross functional teams
and being an active participant in the definition, design and delivery of
technology solutions for multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with key stakeholders to evaluate complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement to successfully solve business problems in support of Sales, Finance, and HR.
- Provide input into the roadmap and strategy for future process re-engineering efforts.
- Collaborate with other project teams on design and architecture related items.
- Prepare high level as well as detailed design documents.
- Help create and review functional specifications, user stories, UI mocks, data dictionaries, and/or process flow diagrams to articulate required changes to systems, interfaces and/or processes
- Create and execute test plans, together with key business stakeholders, to ensure completeness and reliability of the solution.
- Effectively communicate project updates to key stakeholders and management.
- Create user guides and other training documentation to educate users on the new process and/or systems changes; Provide ongoing support to the business during launch and stabilization periods
- Troubleshoot issues and work cross-functionally to prioritize and resolve.
Skills and Experience:
- Expertise with the following applications and systems preferred:
a.PeopleSoft HRMS,
b.Salesforce.com,
c.Microsoft Dynamics (Navision),
d.BI Reporting tools.
- Expertise in developing cross-domain business processes and tools. Sales, Finance and/or HR experience preferred.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and proven results.
- Ability to manage complexity and comfort with ambiguity
- Strong customer and user experience focus
- Ability to work collaboratively, be diplomatic and influence stakeholders, vendors and global teams
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
